Campaign Story
Touchstone Laramie 2016 - part exhibition, part celebration and all community fun - is a much anticipated biennial exhibit that brings together over 30 Laramie and Albany County artists who transform the guest rooms on the 3rd floor of the Fairfield Inn & Suites into unique individual galleries. By sharing their talents, and contributing to the development of a robust and creative quality of life in Albany County, our entire community benefits.
Participating artists this year include Luke Anderson, Jodie Atherton, Wendy Lemen Bredehoft, Mack Brislawn, Bryan Brodersen, C.L. Christian, Susan Davis, Jimmy Devine, Ken Driese, Jerry Glass, Billie K. Gross, Celeste Havener, Clay Johnson, Lee Lane, Chrystal Lawrence, Linda Lillegraven, RoseMarie London, Ginnie Madsen, Jon Madsen, Deb Mathew, Susan Moldenhauer, Allison Pluda, Gail Shive, Doc Thissen, Rene Williams, Paula Wilson-Cazier, Alberto Alcantara, John Baker, Erin Stoesz, Jeny Stoesz, Tara Pappas and Lindsay Stoffers.
We hope you'll join the Laramie Artists Project in making this the best Touchstone Laramie yet. We invite you to participate in our crowd funding campaign by submitting a cash donation or donating goods or services that can be purchased as rewards. Or support other businesses in Laramie by purchasing one of the rewards contributed by our community partners and individuals, and then visiting those businesses.
Funds raised will support the expenses of a special Touchstone Laramie 2016 Preview (new this year!) as part of the Wyoming Art Party's Pop Up Art Walk September. This special preview will be held at the Boarding House Gallery (over NU2U), 320 S. 5th Street, on Friday, September 16 from 5-9 pm and Saturday, September 17, 11-5 pm.
And of course funds will support the main event, Touchstone Laramie 2016, our weekend long exhibition on Saturday, November 12, 10-5 pm and Sunday, November 13, 1-5 pm at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, 1673 Centennial Drive.
