Campaign Story
From the beginning, Powell has always gathered to celebrate holidays, milestones and our community. Events were shared by neighbors at the post office or local grocery store during checkout. Our town is still as vibrant as it once was, but event organizers are having a harder time reaching us. This motion graphics LED sign will help spread the word to all of us community members and our out-of-town visitors that are in one of the approximately 4,500 cars that pass our Chamber and Visitor Center every day.
We want to take this time to give a special thanks to our major community organizations who have helped us reach 75% of our goal so far: Powell Charitable Foundation, Northwest College, Powell Valley Healthcare, Park County Fairgrounds & Events, Powell Valley Community Education, Powell Parks & Rec and Powell Schools Foundation.
The remaining 25% is on US, community, to show our support of all the awesome local events, activities and community education opportunities that this sign will be showcasing...and they are many! We have outgrown our current sign which is a "sign" of a vibrant community!!
Choose your reward offered by one of our amazing local businesses and attractions, OR choose to contribute an amount of your choice and this contribution is an eligible charitable contribution to the PEP Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Less than $3,000 to go! Go Powell!
Thank you to everyone who has contributed so far and if you haven’t had a chance, there is still time. You can claim a reward by just adding one of the cool donated awards from one of our local businesses to your cart and all the contributions go to the Chamber to fund our community events sign.
Every dollar amount counts…give $5, $10, whatever you feel is appropriate, but this is your sign. PLEASE SHARE this with your friends if you know they enjoy our local events too. They can also mail or drop off their contribution.
Again a special shout out to the 40 community organizations and people that have given so far…besides the goal of $23,000, I hope we can have more than 150 people at the table…
