The goal is to raise $4,000 for ongoing instructor training. This is broken up into four different trainings:
Meditation and Hands on Adjustments. Learning and discussing the effects yoga has on the mind-body connection. Learning to integrate these concepts into classes, making them a richer experience for students.
Anatomy and Alignment. Learning the principles necessary to safely and effectively teach yoga alignment.
Communication and Breathing. Concentrating on communication. Discovering how to address all types of learners to empower all students.
Sanskrit, Bagavad Gita, Yoga Sutras and Chanting. Pose Breakdown, Health Benefits of Sound Therapy, Mudras, Common Sanskrit Translations and Terms and Yoga Philosophy and History.
Just as yoga students search for the most knowledgeable teacher they can find, yoga teachers want to inspire our students to be the best they can be. Each of these trainings will benefit the mental and physical health and well being of current and future yogis at Moonflower Yoga.
