Campaign Story
Dance is Fun! Entertaining! And a great form of Exercise! I am pleased to bring my passion for dance to Evanston.
High Uinta Dance will be offering dance lessons to all ages. The lessons will include country western, swing, line dance, ballroom and exercise classes.
We will also have weekend dance parties and specialty workshops. When you have special events, such as dances or corporate parties, High Uinta Dance is available to teach and entertain.
This campaign is to raise funds for this new dance studio. Contributions will be used for a dance floor, mirrors, furnishings and the build-out of the studio. Material and supplies will be purchased locally, as much as possible.
In the 24 yrs I’ve been teaching dance, I’ve judged, taught and competed at dance events around the country and in Canada. I owned a successful dance studio in Oregon, prior to moving to Texas with my husband in 2009. Between 1997 and 2005 I co-hosted sixteen annual dance competition events in Oregon and Washington. These events also included workshops and dinner shows with 100’s of people.
Dancing is great fun, a great social avenue and very entertaining. Great pleasure can be derived from dance.
My motto is “Dance is good for the heart, mind, body and soul; it helps build self-esteem and promotes healthy lifestyles.”
